Seventh and eighth grade girls from the Virtual Academy attended the "introduce a Girl to Engineering" event at the University of Toledo.
Students learned about various engineering paths such as civil, mechanical and chemical engineering while getting involved in hands-on activities. The event included a Q-and-A session with female engineers. Thanks to teachers Jamie Youssef and Andrea Beach, and data coordinator Marsha Webley.
