Mrs. Elbriki's and Mr. Hampton's fifth and sixth grade students at Escuela SMART Academy wrapped up this year's inaugural ESL Book Club. Students met twice a week at lunch during the school year to break down story elements and strengthen vocabulary while reading "Wonder" by RJ Palacio. Students celebrated their commitment to completing the novel with a pizza party and screening of the movie based on the book.
