Fifth grade students at Beverly Elementary conducted testing of the water quality at Delaware Creek as part of the Student Watershed Summit. They performed multiple tests of the water including dissolved oxygen, phosphates, nitrate levels, temperature, and water turbidity.
Data will be analyzed to determine whether the quality of the creek changes due to time of day and their findings will be presented at the summit in November.
Assistant Principal Hayden Lowe put on his waders and joined the fun.
