State Report Card Shows TPS Making Progress

State Report Card Shows TPS Making Progress
Posted on 09/12/2019

The Ohio Department of Education released its annual report cards for public schools on Thursday, September 12, and Toledo Public Schools has good news to share with the community. The district moved up one grade level on the report card and is no longer considered to be in Academic Distress as described by the State of Ohio.

Administrators from TPS, along with the Toledo Board of Education, want to provide a full look at the improvements they have seen - and the continued challenges the district faces - so they have developed several documents for the public to get a better handle on the state's numbers.
