1. To improve the self-esteem, attendance and diploma/degree/program/completion of young men in the participating elementary schools and high schools.
2. To implement effective strategies to improve the college aspirations as well as knowledge of career technology programs.
3. To increase the knowledge and understanding of team building, resume/portfolios, interviewing, career pathways, entrepreneurship, organizational skills, financial literacy, public speaking/ethics and applications/essays.
4. To give back some of what the young men receive through community service.
5. To develop a pipeline support system for students throughout their academic progressions from 5th grade through a two or four year college degree and/or career technology program.
6. To develop a mentorship program involving successful adult role models, college students, high school students and elementary school students.
