Wildlife & Sustainability

In the Wildlife and Sustainability program, you will study the origins, behavior, diseases, genetics, and life processes of animals and wildlife. Environmental sustainability issues such as waste stream management and green building practices will be addressed in learning about managing, improving, and protecting rangelands and wildlife habitats. The conservation of soil, water, forests, and related natural resources will be examined, as well as renewable energy sources. Some careers that the Wildlife and Sustainability program may prepare you for include Zoologists and Wildlife Biologists, Sustainability Specialists that address organizational sustainability issues, and Forest and Conservation Technicians. You may also consider a career as a Park Naturalist or Fish and Game Warden.
