More than 300 people attended McKinley STEMM Academy's STEAM Expo 100 Year Anniversary event last week.
Honoring Our Past/Building Our Future was the theme. Each grade level chose a decade to create a Project Based Learning Project around the question: how has science evolved and changed over the past century?
During the school year, students talked to experts, collected artifacts, and researched the differences from then to now. In addition to the student projects, there were McKinley historical artifacts on display. Thanks to our community and school partners who helped make it a successful event.
