The Toledo area will experience a total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.
This is the first time a solar eclipse will be visible in Ohio since 1806. Because of various factors, the TPS Board of Education passed a resolution to extend spring break for students on April 8 by creating a professional development day for staff.
