As Toledo Public Schools transitions to a hybrid learning model starting on Monday, October 12, all students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade will be required to wear masks.
Face coverings may only cover the nose and mouth area. Here are the rules about what will NOT be acceptable face coverings:
- Those that could be considered offensive or degrading to others
- Have symbols of hate or oppression
- Reference gang membership
- Are considered disruptive to the educational process - school administrators will have the right to make that determination
- No bandana or bandana fabric face coverings will be permitted
PLEASE NOTE: Students in PreK are not required to wear masks but it is recommended that they do so.
