District offering vaccine clinics
Posted on 11/16/2021

As a reminder, all TPS school buildings and offices will be closed Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23, leading into fall break, which is Wednesday, November 24, through Friday, November 26.

Monday and Tuesday are additional days meant to be a time for everyone to recharge and re-energize as we prepare for a successful end to the first semester. Teachers will provide assignments to their students, either via Google Classroom or printed copies, that are required to be completed and returned after Fall break - classes resume on Monday, November 29.

Connecting Kids to Meals will be providing dinners and snacks for children on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week at several community locations, including Toledo-Lucas County Library branches. For a complete listing and serving times, please visit
https://connectingkidstomeals.org/

This is also an opportunity to give those who are not yet vaccinated the time to receive a COVID-19 vaccination or a booster; vaccinations are voluntary for both TPS students and staff members. The following information outlines the schedules and steps for those who are interested in being vaccinated – please note: COVID-19 vaccinations are not mandatory for TPS
students or staff members; however, they are highly recommended:
 Appointments are strongly encouraged to guarantee a vaccine will be available; however, walk-ins will be accepted based on the availability of vaccines.
For families having their 5- to 11-year-old student vaccinated
 Second dose appointments will be made on site at the time of the first dose
 A parent or guardian must accompany their child to the vaccine appointment
