The Scott High School Community Hub, in partnership with the Kids First Initiative, is hosting an event Thursday evening, December 11, at 5 p.m. to assist needy families during the holidays.

Twenty-five families will receive food baskets donated by The Kids First Initiative in an effort to remove the barrier of hunger during the holidays.

As a community hub, Scott High School is committed to providing programs, resources and services that meet the needs and impact the betterment of the students, families and surrounding community.

The Kids First Initiative is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization emphasizing the importance of professional behavior and career opportunity. It specializes in helping at-risk students become productive citizens by providing them with the vital resources needed for each step of the academic cycle.
