On the morning of Wednesday, November 11, four stars of the Rogers High School girls varsity basketball team signed letters of intent to play college ball.
KeAsja Peace and Akienreh Johnson signed letters of intent to continue their basketball careers at the University of Michigan, while Sydney Petty plans to play at the University of Cincinnati and Tanaya Beacham plans to head to the University of Toledo.
All four student athletes were key members of last year’s team which went all the way to the state championship game. Here are their impressive stats:
• Tanaya Beacham: 12.4 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, 1.4 assists per game
• Akienreh Johnson: 13.5 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, 2.8 assists per game
• KeaAsja Peace: 11 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, 1.1 assists per game
• Sydney Petty: 10 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game
