Two 1955 graduates of Woodward High School visited the school earlier this month to bring back the plaque they won as members of the school's Championship National League Bowling Team.

Stan Cieslewski, who now lives in Portland, Oregon, visited his alma mater with teammate Fred Cieslewski to donate their 1955 plaque to the school's trophy case.

The two men toured the halls of what to them is a new school and viewed the trophy case where all of their accomplishments are displayed.

Fred, who is a City League and Woodward High School Hall of Fame member, also coached baseball for the Polar Bars, racking up 316 victories.

On their tour, the two men said they also wanted to honor their fellow 1955 bowling team members: Bill Close, Karl Farkas and Don Malinowski.

Thank you for the Cieslewskis for their donation. All TPS Proud alumni are encouraged to share what they're doing with the TPS Communications office to be included in the Alumni section at www.tps.org.  Please send an email to mmatthew1@tps.org or call 419-671-8200.
