Cleaning out your closets can have a positive impact on two community organizations.

A new partnership between Toledo Public Schools and Easter Seals encourages area residents to drop off gently used clothing, towels, linens, etc. in the designated Easter Seals donation bins that are now located at each TPS school.

Those items will be collected periodically by Easter Seals and each school will then receive monies for its student activity fund, based on the total pounds of clothing that was donated.

Dr. Romules Durant, TPS CEO/superintendent, and representatives from Easter Seals outlined the details of the new partnership at a press conference on Wednesday, September 30, at Spring Elementary School, 730 Spring St.
