Bowsher High science teacher Michelle Reed, who is currently pursuing graduate credit through Miami University's Project Dragonfly Earth Expeditions, will travel to Costa Rica this summer to study lowland rain forest and montane cloud forests.

She will be doing that while investigating the biotic, physical and cultural forces that affect tropical diversity.

Project Dragonfly is located in the department of biology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Michelle Reed received a master of science degree in biology in 2012 from the University of Toledo.
