Robinson Elementary teacher Cynthia Madanski says she is TPS Proud of student Destinee Ferrell for her outstanding project on milkweed.
Destinee, who recently completed the 7th grade at Robinson, won the top prize at the TPS Science Fair in May for her project entitled Got Milk(weed)?
Mrs. Madanski says, "Her work with milkweed is being recognized by Monarch Lab at the University of Minnesota. A 7th grader with published science research - #TPS Proud!"

Robinson recently had a site visit from representatives of the Monarch Lab to witness the progress of the Robinson Community Garden Monarch Waystation. Destinee shared her research with the scientists who did the site visit and they have shared this information with their colleagues. Her work is posted to the North American Monarch Institute-Monarch Flyaway Network.

The annual District Science Fair for seventh and eighth grade students was held on May 16 at Bowsher High School. Click here for the complete list of winners: TPS Science Fair results
