The annual District Science Fair for seventh and eighth grade students held on May 16 was a success, organizers say, with the first place prize being awarded to Robinson Elementary student Destinee Ferrell for her project entitled Got Milk(weed)?

Second place was shared by two Byrnedale students: Nazear Jackson for a project called Deflate Gate and Courtney Coffman for a project called Boub or Kiki?

The science fair was held at Bowsher High School and was attended by a number of TPS employees and community members. Elizabeth Buckholtz, a science support teacher for TPS, thanked everyone involved with the successful night. She wrote, "I appreciate everyone taking time from their evening to interact with our students. The event was a success and it would not have been possible without your help and support."
