ENJOY THE RIDE!
Toledo Public Schools provides transportation to elementary school students who live more than one mile from their school. Students are required to walk to a specific pick-up/drop-off site. Transportation is provided for high school students through the use of TARTA bus passes. If a special education student has mobility problems or special health needs, transportation is provided in accordance with the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP). If you are moving and your child is receiving special transportation services, please contact your School Assistance Center as soon as possible to maintain uninterrupted service.
Please click here for the TARTA routes for TPS high school students: http://tarta.com/schools/ Answers concerning TARTA routes and schedules also can be obtained by calling TARTA at 419-243-RIDE (7433).
Each elementary school has information on the routes that service that particular school. Elementary information is available by calling or visiting the school (all addresses and phone numbers for schools can be found under the Schools tab at www.tps.org). Parents and guardians wanting to determine the schools their students are eligible to attend and the available bus stops should click here: WebQuery (There is also a helpful street map). Just enter a student's information and click Go.
If you have a question about the services of the TPS Transportation Services Department, please call 419-671-8541.
