The Toledo Public Schools transportation fleet travels 1.7 million miles each and every year. That’s the equivalent of sixty-eight trips around the Earth. The Transportation Services Department works to get students to and from schoolbusiness-divisions-transportation safely and efficiently.

Any elementary school student who lives more than one mile from school is eligible to receive bus transportation to and from a predetermined pick-up and drop-off site. Transportation is provided for high school students (who live more than a mile from their schools) through the use of TARTA bus passes. The district provides yellow bus transportation to 2,500 students with special needs, plus 1,000 students who attend Toledo Public Schools and additional charter, parochial and private school students. One hundred district school buses take to the road each day.

Each elementary school has information on the routes that service that particular school. Elementary information is available by calling or visiting the school (all addresses and phone numbers for schools can be found under the Schools tab at www.tps.org). Parents and guardians wanting to determine the schools their students are eligible to attend and the available bus stops should click here: WebQuery (There is also a helpful street map). Just enter a student's information and click Go.
