ROGERS HIGH SCHOOL HOSTING CHEERLEADING CAMPS FOR STUNT SAFETY AND CERTIFICATION

The cheerleading team at Rogers High School is hosting a UCA camp on Saturday, July 29, for stunt safety and certification. The camp, which will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., costs $100 per participant ($60 for coaches). Those attending should bring their own lunches.

If a cheerleading squad would like to stunt but cannot attend the UCA camp, the certified coaches at Rogers will be hosting a stunt safety and certification camp on Wednesday, August 2, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The cost is $40 for participants and free for coaches. Those attending should bring their own lunches.

If a cheerleading squad would like to stunt but can not attend either camp: Please forward your information to your athletic director who may then contact the currently-certified coaches. A camp may be set up at your convenience and be mutually agreed upon by all parties.

Remember: Above all, the safety of our athletes is crucial. If any cheer violations are brought to the district your squad may be grounded till the following year’s certification camp.

*if your squad is stunting, the coaches must be AACCA certified (this is in addition to the district certification requirements for: first aid, CPR, concussion, sports fundamentals, etc.)

Any questions about competing in regionals to qualify for states in the upcoming 2018 season, please forward your information to your athletic director.
